SoulTree A funky new look and a penchant for live performances, this is possibly one of the larger clubs, in that it spans across four levels - the main floor and balcony, plus ground floor and penthouse. |

Ballare Has changed its identity more often than a schizophrenic transvestite, 'Ballare' was (and sometimes still is) known as 'Cindy's' and' Fifth Avenue' (Filth). A commercial club that is known for its international student Thursday. The music is often diabolical, but still draws a large and diverse crowd. |

Kambar In complete contrast to Club 22, Kambar is situated on a 1st floor of what could possibly once have been a house. Small, dark and with a more 'indie' crowd. |

Club Salsa No prizes for guessing what this club has as its theme! Close to the train station. (Incidentally, the salsa group that once rented this venue has now moved (2009) - please see their website: http://www.club-salsa.co.uk.) |

| BARS - They seem to be a new fad, but there's no escaping them! Basically a trendy pub, with not so trendy prices. | ||

Niche Not exactly true to its name, as there is quite a saturation of these bars in Cambridge. Two segregated rooms offer food by day and a main bar and lounge area by night. Open up until 2am or later and to private hire. |

Cellar Bar 8 Offers a diverse variety of events - from generic student jams to salsa and other ethnic music. 'Diverse' is an apt description as there is even lap-dancing on certain evenings. |

Hidden Rooms New to Cambridge, opening in July 2009, this basement club was once the home of Po Na Na. Gone is the Moroccan theme, to be replaced by dark plush decor appropriate to this underground hiding place. There are two main rooms - a lounge and dance room, so called for apparent reasons. |

B Bar Talk about an imaginative name for a bar...and we won't mention this. One better than 'A Bar', but only just. Three floors and an open plan layout, this is unashamedly trendy and for over 21's only! |

Henry's Once upon a time, Henry's was one of the original swanky bars, borne years before the eventual boom. Now Henry has company, although he may not be happy about it. However, the busy riverside location does it no harm. |

There are two Snugs in Cambridge, the newest of the two on East Road, near the Grafton Centre. Cocktails and food and drink are served most times of the day and there is sometimes live music. |

The Castle There are two pubs with this name, but we're referring to the one in town on Regent Street. This has a late licence and hosts various lively events such as Salsa and funky DJs. Also, the food is reputed to be particularly tasty... |
