Poem (author, date)

"Station" by Vivian Chiang, date unknown (approx 2000-2008)

The station is all nations
Human colours interweave
an enormous flag
where you hear all dialects
speak all emotions
see all faces

What does the flag envisage?
The same tree, we embrace
The same soil and blood, we inherit

Goodness of Devil, yet Devil of Goodness?
The paradox of love and hate,
overshadow the sketch of our lives

From the burgundy rainbow to
the white bleached cloud,
rain of fear falls onto us like dead mice
we are all nations
